AT&T extends its power business with Bloom Energy

AT&T has agreed to buy power from fuel cells made by Bloom Energy to provide 9.6 megawatts of energy for 28 facilities in California and Connecticut. Last year the company purchased 7.5 megawatts of power produced from Bloom Boxes, as Bloom Energy calls its fuel cells. Fuel cells run on hydrogen, methane, natural gas and other fuels.
