Kiewit-led team wins $629.5M New Orleans flood-control contract

A $629.5 million contract to design and build a permanent flood-control project in New Orleans has been awarded to Kiewit Corp.-led team called PCCP Constructors that includes Traylor Bros. and M.R. Pittman Group. Design work is slated to begin by the end of the month, and construction is expected to be completed in mid-2016, according to the Army Corps of Engineers.
