Best Buy has launched a revamped online retail site, updating its 10-year-old site in a push to boost online sales and conversion rates. About one in 100 visitors to the site makes a purchase, about half the average rate among retailers, and Best Buy CEO Hubert Joly has set a goal to more than double the company's share of online consumer electronics sales from 7% to 18%.
