Brazil's Netshoes races toward a mobile future

About 2.5 million of the 16 million monthly visitors to Netshoes arrive via mobile devices, and mobile purchases are an increasing part of the Brazilian online sporting goods retailer's $500 million in annual sales, CTO Rodrigo Nasser said at's Annual Summit. Soccer fans shopping from the couch are boosting the company's m-commerce growth, as are geolocation tools that send smartphone offers to customers who come close to major shopping centers and an application called Netshoes Click that tracks down specific pairs of shoes from photos shoppers upload.
