CFTC and SEC deal with shutdown

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission are both coping with a new fiscal environment in the wake of the government shutdown. The CFTC has said that its enforcement division operations will "largely cease." The SEC announced that it has enough leftover funding to operate for "a few weeks."
