Column: Hotel crisis-management plans need constant review

Having a crisis-management plan for a hotel is not enough; hoteliers need to regularly review and update their plans to be better able to cope with any crisis, writes Larry Mogelonsky, founder and president of LMA Communications. "Whether it is group or individual violence, hurricane or flood, wildfire or earthquake, as a GM or asset manager, you must be prepared. This is part of your fiduciary responsibility to your owners as well as your guests," Mogelonsky writes.
