Conn. middle school starts CrossFit club for students

A Connecticut middle school has started a fitness club for students using CrossFit strength and conditioning exercises plus other activities. About 90 students are participating in the program, which uses exercises based on one's own body weight. While weight training typically is not offered for children, physical-education teacher Mark Fong says learning correct techniques keeps the workouts age-appropriate.
