Fandango aims to boost ticket sales with mobile home-screen promotion

Fandango is promoting its mobile ticketing service on Samsung smartphone owners' home screens through Samsung's Here & Now feature for the Galaxy Note 3. The home screen will feature showtimes and include links to the Fandango website. "The service provides consumers with curated selection of top movies coming out every weekend automatically available on their home screen," said Mark Young, Fandango's vice president of strategy and business.
