Game-maker could see $5 billion-plus valuation of IPO

10/2/2013 | Bloomberg, the developer of the Candy Crush Saga game, has entered a "confidential filing for an initial public offering," Cliff Edwards and Ari Levy write. Analysts value the business at $5 billion to $7 billion with a potential IPO. "They aren't a one-hit wonder, they're a four-hit wonder and if the numbers show that's sustainable, they'll get more than the $5 billion," Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter says.
