Judge rejects DOJ delay for AA-US Airways case

The Department of Justice will not be allowed to delay its antitrust case against US Airways and American Airlines due to the government shutdown, a judge ruled. "It is essential that the Department of Justice attorneys continue to litigate this case," U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly said. Meanwhile, Texas dropped out of the case as a plaintiff.
