Ohio community colleges offer career training to older students

Community colleges in Ohio are helping workers older than 50 get degrees and credentials as part of a new program. Eighty-seven colleges are part of the Plus 50 Completion Strategy, which focuses on helping older adults get degrees in education, social services and health care. Of the 7,192 who earned a degree or credential over the past three years, 715 now have jobs.
