Pa. refinery is processing large amounts of Bakken crude oil

Philadelphia Energy Solutions' refinery in Pennsylvania is processing about 190,000 barrels per day of crude oil from North Dakota's Bakken Shale formation a year after the company acquired the facility, said CEO Philip Rinaldi. The figure represents about one-fifth of the oil produced from the formation. Most of the crude oil is transported via rail while the rest is carried by barge.
