Precast allows designer to solve construction issues on Minn. apartments

Precast concrete allowed the design team to solve several building challenges for the Elness Swenson Graham Architects-designed Genesee apartment complex in Bloomington, Minn. Precast proved to be a more convenient construction material as the buildings' "precast wall saved a considerable amount of money versus using deep foundations," said Tim Morey, Ericksen Roed & Associates engineer.
