Program bolsters C. diff protocol compliance, data suggest

The Cleveland VA Medical Center's Clostridium difficile infection stewardship program was associated with better protocol compliance, according to a study published in Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology. The initiative helped shorten testing and treatment times and other metrics improved, as well, researchers noted.
