Researchers: Heart disease may be fought effectively with drugs, exercise

Exercise appears to be as effective as medication in treating heart disease and more effective than drugs in stroke rehabilitation, according to research by the London School of Economics and Political Science and Harvard and Stanford universities. Scientists recommended that tests of new drugs should use exercise as a comparison. Their review of 305 studies appeared in the British Medical Journal.
