A proposed 1,680-room hotel in Seattle would be a 41-story tower with an angled facade of precast concrete and glass in its lower portion, giving the base of the exterior a tapered look. The tower is part of a proposal that would also include affordable housing, retail and public space, according to R.C. Hedreen Co., the project's developer.
