Stabilis, Flint Hills forge gas liquefier development deal

Flint Hills Resources and Stabilis Energy have struck a joint venture deal covering the development of multiple liquefied natural gas production facilities. The companies seek to build their first facility in the Eagle Ford Shale in Texas, which would have a production capacity of up to 100,000 gallons of LNG per day. "We believe this venture will allow Stabilis to rapidly deploy LNG liquefiers across all of the major oil and gas shale plays in North America," said Casey Crenshaw, Stabilis' president and CEO.
