Target, in a move to rival Wal-Mart, will piggyback on T-Mobile US' network to launch a prepaid mobile service beginning this Sunday, the retailer announced via a blog post. The company will charge $35 a month for unlimited voice and texting, $50 a month for 1 gigabyte of 4G data plan or $65 a month for a 4GB 4G data plan. Target, which is calling the service Brightspot, will also issue subscribers a $25 gift card every six months and offer a range of basic phones and support compatible handsets.
