Top-level diversity is key for innovation

Companies whose top executives are exclusively white and male are likely failing to realize their innovation potential, argue researchers from the Center for Talent Innovation. A diverse mix of top managers is more likely to spot good ideas and nurture talent across the company, the researchers write. "Mix it up at the top, and ideas with blockbuster potential will burble up from the bottom," they write.
