U.K. regulator might have power over commodity benchmarks

More commodity benchmarks might be subject to examination by the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority, FCA technical specialist Don Groves says. The 2012 Financial Services Act ensures the London Interbank Offered Rate is overseen by regulators, and Groves says other benchmarks could be governed by the same law.
