Wis. nurse develops online resource for colleagues who serve students

With help from a federal grant, veteran school nurse Lori Anderson, an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Nursing, developed an online resource that gives school nurses, who often work alone, access to timely and authoritative information on conditions such as diabetes, asthma and cancer. "It definitely makes me feel connected," said high-school nurse Laura Marty. The grant came through the nursing division of the Health Resources and Services Administration.
