Massachusetts, University of Wisconsin win grants

Federal officials yesterday said the government has given a $100 million grant to Massachusetts to improve reading instruction as part of the Bush administration's Reading First Program. Separately, the National Science foundation has awarded the University of Wisconsin at Madison $35 million to improve math and reading instruction.
