Lilly CEO endorses electronic records sharing

Eli Lilly and Co. CEO Sidney Taurel, speaking at the Cleveland Clinic Medical Innovation Summit Tuesday, promoted greater cooperation among health care industry players for electronic information sharing. Taurel said better information sharing would contribute to quicker regulatory approval and early detection of diseases and would improve drug safety and effectiveness in the long run.
