Carolinas Healthcare implements telehealth monitoring system

The 23-hospital Carolinas Healthcare System is implementing a telehealth monitoring program designed to reduce hospital lengths of stay and re-admissions. The system includes a disease management component for daily monitoring for patients with chronic conditions, who make up a majority of the program, as well as software applications and disease management content to improve patient care.
