Report: Both candidates have health care IT provisions in plan

Although health care IT figures into both presidential candidates' health care reform plans, each plan would take the system in entirely different directions, according to a new report by the Commonwealth Fund. McCain suggests implementing technology that allows doctors to work across state lines and increasing the use of telemedicine while Obama has advocated phased implementation of health care IT over five years.
