Energy Dept. highlights need for biofuel infrastructure

The Department of Energy has reiterated its commitment to installing renewable-fuel infrastructure. In a letter sent to companies that called for faster disbursement of funding for alternative fuels, the agency's energy efficiency secretary, Kathleen Hogan, wrote that the agency recognizes the need to bolster infrastructure programs for biofuels, especially in "those regions of the country most conducive to and in need of increased infrastructure investments."
