Saturated fats are OK in moderation

Research from the Global Dairy Platform says saturated fats in dairy products have been unfairly blamed for increasing the risk of cardiovascular disease. "[A]ssuming that saturated fat at any intake level is harmful is an over-simplification and not supported by scientific evidence," said a food science professor at the University of California, who noted that diets "inordinately high in fat and saturated fat" can increase risk.
