Global air travel continues to grow, group says

An international airline group says that although global air travel continues to grow, that growth cooled in August amid concerns about the economy. August passenger traffic increased 4.5%; in July, the gain was 6%, the group says. However, North American passenger traffic rose only 0.9% in August on a year-over-year basis.
