HHS announces $13.2 million in behavioral HIT grants

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration will offer about $13.2 million to help 47 community health facilities link behavioral health with primary care services through health IT systems. The funding will help "ensure behavioral health service providers are fully interoperable with the general health system," SAMHSA Administrator Pamela Hyde said.
