Regulators work on conflicts between Dodd-Frank and Basel III

Regulators are trying to deal with conflicts between measures in the Dodd-Frank Act and Basel III. One of the issues centers on a Dodd-Frank clause that prohibits using credit ratings in regulation, making it difficult for U.S. financial institutions to implement sections of Basel III.
