U.K. researchers tout recipe book for "perfect plastic" formulas

In a paper published in the journal Science, scientists in the U.K. say they've made progress in allowing chemical firms to refer to a "recipe book" of properties to enable ideal plastics. "This breakthrough means that new plastics can be created more efficiently and with a specific use in mind, with benefits to industry and the environment," said lead researcher Daniel Read.
