Mobile ad spend likely to catch up with audience, says Millennial Media chief

There's an imbalance between the time people spend on their mobile devices and the dollars marketers spend to reach them there, noted Millennial Media CEO Paul Palmieri in opening remarks at the Smarter Mobile Marketing conference in New York City. Over time, this is likely to correct, with mobile being "the only advertising medium available continuously all day for advertisers," Palmieri said. Separately, new research from Millennial shows that auto advertising spend on mobile has increased 372% over a year.
