Schools offered free access to Microsoft Office

A Microsoft executive has announced that schools will have access to Microsoft Office 365 -- a cloud-based technology that provides access to Microsoft Office tools -- for free. The program is used by businesses worldwide. However, some have questioned the motives behind companies, such as Google, that have provided free technology for schools, saying they are hoping to get students accustomed to using their products at an early age.
