CBS names John Orlando to lead its D.C. office

John Orlando, CBS' top lobbyist, will succeed Martin Franks as executive vice president of government affairs and head of CBS' Washington, D.C., office. Orlando also led NAB's Government Relations department for five years. "John is one of the most respected and skilled [lobbyists] working in the media industry, so I am thrilled to have him at the helm of our D.C. operation," said CBS chief Leslie Moonves.
