Concrete work poses challenges at UAE's Louvre Abu Dhabi

Concrete is at the heart of the under-construction Louvre Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, and right now, it can only be placed at night because of weather conditions. Reinforced-concrete foundations, ceilings, floors and walls will become the support for the exterior frame dome, but must also keep the eventual contents of the museum in tip-top shape and keep the underground seawater out to prevent corrosion.
