Fla.'s grapefruit harvest gets a late start

Grapefruit growers in Florida's Indian River region started harvesting on Sept. 30, with fruit expected to ship to domestic retailers by mid-October. The harvest began about two weeks later than usual this year, and growers say the fruit is higher quality than last year's crop.
