Ill. school uses distance learning to expand gifted curriculum

A middle school in Aurora, Ill., gives students who are gifted more access to high-level classes through a distance-learning program for world languages. The school uses an online platform to connect students with high-school level lessons in Spanish, French, Latin, German and Chinese. Students in the program interact in real-time with online teachers.
