Innovation requires conformists as well as radicals

An innovation team made up entirely of free-wheeling radicals won't get much done, writes Ella Miron-Spektor. It takes a mix of stolid conformists and creative types to turn blue-sky thinking into workable products, Miron-Spektor explains. "The trick is building an innovation team that will nurture and constructively filter their ideas, putting their special talents to work for the benefit of the organization," she writes.
