Longer shutdown could cause more contracting problems, lawyers say

The legal issues surrounding the government shutdown are poised to grow more complex as the impasse drags on, lawyers say. Unintended costs, delays and other problems may crop up as the shutdown continues. The shutdown has caused a lull in work for government contract attorneys, but they say they are likely to be much busier after the government gets going again.
