Ohio schools offer character building for at-risk students

Students in some Akron, Ohio, schools who are identified as at-risk because of behavioral issues or test scores have access to a program aimed at closing achievement gaps among this student population. The Closing the Achievement Gap program connects students with mentors and provides enrichment activities for students. During a recent outing, students volunteered at a local food bank.
