SBA loan programs enter holding pattern amid government shutdown

The Small Business Administration is still able to process disaster loans during the government shutdown, but many of its other loan programs and activities have been put on hold. As a result, the 7(a) and 504 loan programs are in limbo. Wells Fargo is still taking applications for SBA loans, but it can't complete the lending process without the administration's approval.
