Study: Half of e-mail opens happen on mobile

Mobile now accounts for half of e-mail openings that occur on just one device, according to research by Experian Marketing Services. That's more than double the rate for desktop-only e-mail opening. "With mobile devices now crossing the 50% of unique opens, marketers must bring device optimization to the forefront of their e-mail marketing campaigns," said Bill Tancer of EMS.
