You're going to spend a lot of time with the people in your office, so it's critical to look for job applicants who have the right personality, writes Randy Kessler. Rather than just holding a short interview in your law firm, take the applicant somewhere so you can learn how he or she interacts in the real world. "If you think they have potential, take them to lunch, bowling or a ballgame," he recommends.
