Wis. district puts more locally produced food on the menu

A Wisconsin school district has overhauled its menu to comply with federal nutrition standards -- serving more fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains, and less salt and fat. As National School Lunch Week approaches, the district also plans to serve more fresh, locally produced foods, including maple syrup, breads from local bakeries, plus apples and potatoes.
