Chevron sets sights on Brazil's reserves for future growth

Chevron hopes that its offshore prospect in the Frade field in Brazil will pave the way for larger projects. This comes as the company is expected to raise production faster than other major international oil firms in the short term. Brazil has enough oil reserves that it could eventually join the Gulf of Mexico and West Africa as Chevron's primary production and exploration centers, the company said.
