F-35 flight testing suspended amid fuel pump problem

The Pentagon has temporarily suspended flight testing on all three F-35 fighter jet models following the discovery of a fuel pump sequencing problem that could cause the jet's engine to stall. Short takeoff and vertical landing flight testing operations have also been prohibited for the F-35B variant due to an issue with the auxiliary inlet door hinge on test aircraft BF-1, according to Lockheed Martin.
