Homeownership is still a part of wealth accumulation in the U.S.

Financial advisers and other experts said that despite the collapse of the housing market, homeownership should not be overlooked as at least one part of wealth accumulation. Housing prices look low now, but that is the result of comparisons with prices at the peak of the housing bubble, when they were unrealistically high.
