Michael Wolff to take over Adweek

Michael Wolff, the Vanity Fair media columnist and author known for his combative style, is taking over as editorial director of Adweek, Mediaweek and Brandweek, which are owned by e5 Global Media. The move is the second recent high-profile editorial hire by e5, which named former US Weekly editor Janice Min to take over The Hollywood Reporter. Wolff plans to write for Adweek as well manage, saying, "I will be the dominant voice in the Adweek constellation."
