Study: Most physicians can't connect smartphones to EMRs

A PwC Health Research Institute study found that about 66% of physicians could not link their smartphones with electronic medical record systems at hospitals or medical practices. This lack of connectivity prevents physicians from maximizing the use of their mobile devices, especially in performing patient monitoring tasks, the study noted.
