Survey: Data virtualization gains traction in health care

A Composite Software survey found that 80% of health care chief information officers and other health IT experts said they would be interested in employing data virtualization to boost business intelligence and analytics at their organizations. As hospitals become digitized, virtualization can help them use data to improve care and decision-making as well as gain cost-savings, a Composite Software executive said.
